Installation Guide

The image above shows the toner cartridge components. 1 is the imaging drum. Do not touch the green roller as doing so can result to print problems, or worse, damage the cartridge. 2 is the reset chip. Every cartridge contains a reset chip that is read by the printer when it is installed.

Step 1: Open the front door of the machine. Make sure that the door completely open.

Step 2: Gently push the button on the green lock lever and then rotate the lock lever to the down position.

Step 3: Grasp the toner cartridge handle and gently pull out to remove it.

Step 4: Unpack the new toner cartridge.

Step 5: Align the new toner cartridge in its slot then insert it in the printer. The toner cartridge will drop slightly when it is in place.

Step 6: Push the button on the lock lever, and then rotate the lock lever up, back to its original position.

Step 7: Close the front door.
